Victim Services is a short-term intervention of 10 sessions. All clients can transfer to the practice if needed.
Psychotherapy occurs in individual, family, and couples approaches. This approach includes play therapy and Indigenous services. Clients can choose from weekly, bi-weekly or occasional appointments as much as needed. Typically, 12 sessions are recommended to start for children and youth.
Psychological counselling for Motor Vehicle Accidents, WSIB, and insurance benefits. Services are offered through Dalton Associates. Please contact them to enroll.
Therapists who are currently awaiting registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists or College of Social Workers can provide therapy sessions at a lower cost. This is a supervised practice model. Connect with your insurance to ensure they are able to reimburse supervised practice. Interns, therapists who are still attending graduate school fall under "supervised interns". Current supervisor is: Nicole Perryman.
Supervised psychotherapy counseling is available for M.A. or MSW interns and Qualifying Psychotherapists. Fees range from $75 for interns and $120 for Qualifying Psychotherapists.
Inspiring Change from Within
Counselling fees are due on the date of the appointment, via e-transfer or credit card. Late fees are applied to accounts at the end of the month of 2% increase. Some insurance companies due not accept supervised counselling sessions, thus, it is important that you speak with your adjuster if you are hoping to receive reimbursement for your fees.
